Welcome to our FAQ page. Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions about agistment, care, and facilities at Wildflower Equestrian Park.
Applications and Waitlist

Yes. We’re currently taking Expressions of Interest for upcoming available agistment openings. You can register your details on our website to join the waitlist.

Yes. All agistees sign an agreement covering care standards, payment terms, and property guidelines. This ensures clear expectations for both parties on how we handle horse welfare and what is expected of agistees when on the property.

Yes. All horses must be healthy and up to date with worming and vaccinations. You must supply a current Hendra Vaccination certification before arrival. We do recommend being vaccinated for Strangles and Tetanus also but this is not compulsory. We will need details of your Vet and any other Equine health professionals who are a part of your team. All horses must be wormed either on the day of arrival or within two weeks of arrival on-site to Wildflower. Horses must then be wormed every quarter.

Yes. We require references from previous Agistment providers, a coach or someone who can vouch for you as a trusted and reliable agistee.
Fees and Inclusions

$154 per week (inc GST)
Full Care Agistment means we manage your horse’s daily routine. This includes feeding once or twice daily, checking water troughs, rugging and unrugging as needed and visual health checks.
Inclusions: Two individual pipe rail fenced paddocks for each horse on a monthly rotation for paddock health. Twice daily feeding (hay, hard feed & supplements supplied by owner), daily checks, automatic waterer and shelter, rugging as required (rugs supplied by owner), regular poo collection, paddock harrowing, access to tack + feed storage and all on-site riding facilities. *All feeds are to be made up by the owner and ready for delivery morning and evening.
Additional services available:
Making up feeds will be charged at $2 per day or an additional $14 per week + GST
Daily exercise for your horse, washing, grooming, providing access and managing your horse for vets, dentists or other eqine therapists. These services are billed at $33 per hour.

Holiday Care is charged at a per day, per horse rate, up front, for the length of your booking. It includes one secure paddock, shelter, clean water trough, twice daily feeding/rugging and daily visual health checks. Quality Hay is included and provided daily but hard feed and supplements need to be provided by the owner. The use of on-site riding facilities is subject to availability. Any additional services required will be billed at $33 per hour.
Additional services available: Daily exercise for your horse, washing, grooming, providing access for vets, dentists or other equine therapists. Float parking subject to availability.

No, we only offer Full Care Agistment or Short- Term/ Holiday Agistment.

Once your application to agist at Wildflower is approved, you will be invoiced an upfront bond of 4 weeks agistment ($616) per horse plus one or two weeks agistment in advance.
Your ongoing, weekly payment of $154 or fortnightly payment of $308 needs to be deposited into our account before Friday.

At Wildflower we require four weeks notice if you intend to leave. This is where your initial four weeks upfront bond payment can be used as payment for your final four weeks. If you need to leave before the four weeks notice period ends the remaining balance is not refundable.
Horse Care and Facilities

At Wildflower we offer individual paddocks only at this stage. In the future we hope to provide a herd style paddock for two or three horses.

We keep numbers small, usually between 6 and 8 horses, to ensure quality care and a quiet, peaceful environment.

Absolutely. Owners are welcome during daylight hours. We encourage regular visits, rides, and time spent with your horse.

Feed is not included in Full Care Agistment. Owners provide their horse’s preferred feed and supplements, which we store and feed daily. Feeds need to be made up and stored easily for us to distribute to your horse.
We supply Hay only with Short-Stay/Holiday Agistment, all other feed and supplements need to be provided by the owner. If Holiday Care horses are staying longer term, we will make up feeds for your horse according to your specific direstions.

Arranging farrier and vet visits on your behalf is not included in Full Care Agistment. We can however assist with coordination of trusted local service providers if they are returning for scheduled visits or when owners cannot attend in person. We charge an hourly rate of $33 for this type of additional service provided by us.

Our individual long term agistment paddocks have secure pipe rail fencing. Each paddock provides all horses with quality pasture, natural shade and an enclosed shelter with an automatic waterer.

Yes. We have flat grass areas for riding and a large 6 acre paddock for hacking out, flatwork or pace work. We also have an arena area which is currently under going renovation and will be available for use in early 2026.

Yes. We have an area where you can wash your horse, various tack up areas, and a large, clean storage shed for tack and feed. Each agistee will be given a key to the tack shed and will need to pay a $50 key bond. The key bond will be returned to you when you return the key at the end of your agistment term.

Yes, agistees can park their float on-site in the designated float parking area for no additional charge, however you do so at your own risk and we take no responsibility for your floats safety while on-site. We encourage you to have the appropriate insurance for your float while parked at Wildflower.

At this stage no dogs are allowed on-site.

Yes. Your visitors are allowed on-site to ride your horses if they are with you, however they must sign our waiver and ride at their own risk. As a courtesy, we do request that you let us know if you have a friend coming on-site with you to ride.

Rug washing and repair can be provided by us for an additional fee. Please get in touch privately to discuss pricing.

You can come on-site to ride or visit from 6am in the morning until 9pm in the evening. If you have special circumstances and would like to negotiate something outside these hours please get in touch. Basically from sun up until sun down you are free to be on-site and we ask all agistees to be considerate of our family who also live on-site : )

At this stage we do not offer lessons on-site. There are however many amazing coaches and facilities close by who offer lessons in dressage, show jumping and eventing. Please ask us about these providers and we would be happy to offer our recommendations.
Our arena is currently under renovation, once this is complete we will consider arena hire for non agistee riders. Please get in touch if you’d like an update on this.
Short-Stay and Holiday Agistment

Yes. We provide secure equine accommodation for overnight and short-term stays. This includes a safe, individual paddock, daily feeding and rugging, twice daily welfare checks and use of our on-site facilities (subject to availability).

Not at this time. We currently only offer equine accommodation. Please contact us if you require accomodation and we’ll share our reccomendations for nearby places to stay.

Yes. We have safe parking and easy access for floats and trucks for our short stay guests. We do however take no responsibility for the safety of your float whilst parked at Wildflower and it will be parked at your own risk. We suggest having the appropriate insurance for your float or truck.
